Alice Margatroid & her (I believe) companion doll , Shanghai form a (I believe , again) very famous game , especially in Japan , called Touhou .

This is a request art from a friend of mine in a famous site (he's here too in DA - >< -) . And since it's a request art , the original picture size is not downloadable nor available to others (it's big , really big) , unless the requester gives me the 'go ahead' sign .

I don't know how to document details as to how I did this one (digital art) , so if you feel that there's anything you need to know of which is not there , feel free to tell me , and I'll add them up ^^ .

Details :
- Modified fan art from a game (see top)
- A4 size , approximately 3500 x 2500 (Original size , horizontally)
- 100% digital (complete version)
- 85 - 100 layers (Is this normal ?)
- Line art (as guidelines) as the foundation , completed with Photoshop CS2 in CMYK mode (converted to RGB to meet requirement)
- Brush Tool (all sorts , mostly the airbrush tip) , Blur Tool , Pen Tool (Book) & Magic Wand Tool (I believe that is all , not familiar with Digital Art Tool stuffs)
- Done in about 2 months , including those 'wasted' times - pulling my hair off out of frustration .....

I have the WIP , the Line Art and the .pdf file with me . I'll put them up later on . But I'm having trouble putting up .pdf file on sites like this ..... anyone knows how ?

Artist's opinion on this piece :

After two long months of intense pain & frustration , struggling like a living fish dancing on a hot frying pan , trying to get out , to get it done properly , I can finally be able to upload it (for now) . But I might tweak it overtime (If I feel that it's not good enough to me , or to the others) , but for now , I'm okay with the outcome considering it's my second time (I mean it , this is my VERY second piece when it comes to digital art ._. . You REALLY want to see my very first attempt at it ?) . So , I'll leave it as it should be (Too tired to fix it . Too many mistakes done in this piece :/ . I'd rather learn from the mistakes done in this one and fix it on my next one)

If any of you want to know how is my very first piece looks like , write it out in your comment (I'd rather not if you ask me , it's a total 'fail' piece to me .....)

..... I feel like Shanghai is not well done there ..... *sigh*

EDIT AGAIN AGAIN : I don't know about copyright stuffs before (Because I don't [and never wish to do much fan arts] usually do fan art [out of respect of the original owners right , unless they allow it] , only OCs . That's why whatever I did so far is automatically own by me and only me & without my permission , no one's allowed to 'lay your itchy hands' on them for whatever reason you might have .

So I'm going to put it in here and other fan art I might do in the future :

I do not own the character , it belongs to a game called 'Touhou Project' (Or something close to it , don't know much of it myself) . But I did this one , from scratch & therefore , I hold the original line-art , .pdf file & the original work (I've disabled the full download feature again for that reason) . So you're allowed to see/have the reduced quality version while the requester/commissioner and I (the owner of the work) is allowed to have the full-size version of it .
